Finally!!! After over a month of absence, I have returned. Fortunately I have not returned empty handed, as I promised myself several weeks before I redid the layout. The color is a first for me. I blended 2 of the colors I really like, being green and yellow. It's pretty simple, nothing too different from my previous designs; though I kinda placed more attention to detail on the coding aspect of the site. I cleaned up my old code, fix some bugs, and tried to make it more cross-browser friendly. I haven't been doing much lately, just chillin' out and trying to stay away from anything related to coding or design, with the exception of my job of course. I don't wanna burn myself out so I decided to do other things. And by other things I mean, watching some tube, eating, and chillin' out. I gained a bit of fat during the course of this ordeal. So now that I'm back in the saddle so to speak, I'm trying to shed off that bit of fat and get my health back on track. Speaking of health, I'm trying to take my health more seriously, much so that I decided to buy some whey protein supplement. Well, I found an affordable source for them. This usually retails at 5,000-6,000 bucks, which is too rich for my blood. Fortunately, I found someone selling it for 2,500 bucks, same weight at 5lbs give or take. So I'd be spending something like 34 bucks a day if I drink 1 serving per day which I think is economical. If I hadn't found a cheap source for them, I doubt I'd purchase them; since I plan to incorporate this into my daily diet, not just to gain more muscle. I want sustainable muscle growth, and by sustainable I mean financially. At first, I had my doubt whether the stuff I got was authentic, but it seems I've gained some weight and I grew a bit thicker since I started drinking it. I saw an officemate last Monday and she said so. My guess is the whey did it since I've been reducing my carbs intake and the sizes of the portions of the meals I eat since I started drinking it. Personally I don't think it was such a big difference in terms of size. But I am glad that I can eat less and still maintain my strength and muscle growth. A healthier lifestyle is much more expensive and requires discipline but is it very fulfilling both physically and mentally. I decided to go old school a bit. I bought an earring (assuming that's the right term) for my lower lip. I used to have it on back in college but I lost it and never bothered getting a replacement. I also plan on putting one back on my right ear, on the top part where the ligament part of the ear is. Maybe in the near future I'll get a tattoo, assuming I finalize my design and find a good tattoo artist. I guess that wraps up my post for today. I'm kinda lost for thoughts today, though I do plan on posting regularly again especially in the coming days/weeks. My kid is about to enter the world sometime soon, and I'm so psyched about it. So until the next time... |
