I just acquired most of the parts for my new box. I just finished installing a new OS on it as well as setting it up to my preferences. It's nothing much compared to the other dude I see on the net. I consider my new b0x more of the entry level type. Here are the new toys: I'm planning to add some more stuff in the future, like maybe change my graphics card or get a tuner or something. But needless to say, I am content with the price I paid and the performance the new parts give. I managed to save a couple thousand bucks on my purchases too so I have no complaints. But what impressed me the most is the addition of the raptor hard drive; the 10,000RPM disk really has a significant performance difference. My only complaint is the disk is kinda noisy compared to my Seagate drives. Next on my list is a case for my b0x. You can't really call it a box if it ain't in one right? Right now my box is sitting on 6 screws under a table, totally naked *blushes*. |
