Been watching the news lately and all I can say is I'm so fucking disgusted! Not by the sky rocketing prices of commodities but by the reactions from the new Reproductive Health Bill. The religions sectors are against it and even stooped to threatening the politicians supporting the bill; saying that they wont be given Communion and that their followers will be instructed not to vote for the said politicians. Who the fuck do they think they are! In the first place it is not their place nor anyone else' for that matter to tell someone who to vote for office. It is the responsibility of every Filipino to elect the leaders of our country and shouldn't be dictated by anyone or anything. Also the religious sector has no business in the affairs of the state.

They say that the only method that should be used is the natural method. But I have yet to see them encourage it, hold seminars regarding it to educate the masses. They say all life is sacred which i think is a bunch of bullshit. Don't tell me that these so called people of god haven't killed insects or rodents. Over population is not the cause of the current state of the country they say... and yes you guessed it! the government or should i say the current administration is the cause... not those lazy mother fuckers who complain all day.

Other sectors are jumping on the anti-government sentiment as well especially with the State Of the Nation Address coming. One thing caught my ear which went something like: the reason behind the hard life in recent months is because of the government particularly the ones in power. Yeah I know the government has its own problems and is probably fucked up beyond repair, but most of the people saying such things are also in government aspiring for a position. These mother fuckers are just sending a message to the people that it is never your fucking fault you are poor, just blame the CURRENT administration! They fill up people with empty delusions of entitlement. Instead of being pro-active and doing somehing about the corrupt system they just pass the buck.

Local government has no place anymore as well. When something's wrong in your barangay or city don't complain to your barangay chairman or your mayor call the president of the country!. They say the president is the problem and should be replaced. People always fail to understand that the replacement will always be a politician; and there is no guarantee that he or she will do a better job.

At the rate Filipinos are thinking, the next generation's future looks bleak. I hope my daughter's peers will be people who can think for themselves and who are pro-active and self aware.

Putang Ina! gusto niyong palitan mga politiko eh politiko rin ipapalit; eh pare pareho naman karamihan sa mga yan. Ang pag babago nag sisimula sa sarili hindi sa gobyerno!
